Read the article in the tuning guide section about rudder pin. It seems to be the opposite of what's on the Waszp site in the initial tuning guide there.
So upwind, the pin should be all the way back? In doing this is there a different set up for the main foil since this changes the angle of attack a lot? Or the ride height adjustment takes care keeping the main foil in the water?
I've sailed the boat for two years with the pin all the way forward upwind and a few turns back off the wind. I've set the boat up to the Waszp tuning guide.... So I've just been trying to sail the boat level fore and aft once on the foils. Pin all the way forward to get on the foil... It makes sense that pin back would get the boat on the foils sooner....
So great to see this site starting to develop!
I noticed everyone was bow-up in the Perth games and was surprised. I'll have to try going to windward without pressing the bow down so hard, I can't point for sh*t right now so maybe that will help.
