    Where to sail

    in WASZP Forum

Where is the best place in California or Texas for a beginner to learn to sail a Waszp? Shallower water, consistent wind, and not too arduous for self rescue. Suggestions? Padre Island?

Flat water and consistent breeze is definitely the easiest. I am not too familiar with either spot, but someone will likely have some more specific suggestions. Where are you located?

I live in Colorado, but lakes here are frozen and I want to get started on sailing, so I will drive to find the best spot.
